Kit from MSQC--Kingstar test

I Tried out my Kingstar metallic thread on two of these little trees. This kit was part of last year's Countdown to Christmas box from MSQC. I use pink and green Kingstar thread and my usual 90/14 topstitch needle and had lots of looping--that I pulled to the back. But, the gold Superior Threads metallic thread was great. So, if you can get a close up of the photo, the two trees on the left are Kingstar and the one on the right is Superior Threads--there are still some loops on the pink and green threads. I haven't tried it on an embroidery design yet.

Those are so cute! They're similar to some stuffed trees I did last year. I'm anxious to see how the thread does on an embroidery design. I need to try some of those decorative stitches also to see how it does. Thanks for posting!
