poached eggs in the air fryer

Post by nonie »

You can poach eggs in the air fryer? It is now my go to for poaching eggs. There are several methods this one is mine:

Preheat air fryer to 400 degrees. Put a little oil in your ramekin, I sue cooking oil.
crack an egg into the ramekin, add 2 Tablespoons of water
Place the ramekin into the air fryer and decrease temperature to 350 degrees.
Try for 4-5 minutes, I usually do 4 and they are perfect. Use a small spatula to get them out, a spoon works.
Perfect every time.

I've seen that, but I have an egg cooker that I use to boil eggs (it only uses a little bit of water). It's so easy, and I don't have to watch them. It will also poach eggs.

I don’t have an egg cooker, so I use the air fryer.

I got mine as a white elephant gift one Christmas. I didn't use it for a long time, but when I did, I know I'd buy another one if it stopped working.

I have no space left for another gadget. So I must go on thinking the air fryer is the best. Either way it sure does replace that boiling water and vinegar and stuff.

This is small enough to store in a cabinet, and you know I don’t have much storage!

   It's whatever you like, or have the appliances to do! I just never thought I'd love an egg cooker. I use my air fryer almost daily.
