Being the owner of this forum for so many years, has allowed me to make some very, very good friends. So i would like to open this new spot with a super blast from the past. Now, I know this will bring back many memories for all of us.
Betty, was not only a friend to all of us, she could sew and design like the master she was. I know we all miss her and the dresses she sewed. So here is her great grand daughter modeling a pattern variation that was on our opening page for a very long time:
Sweet, sweet, “talented” Betty! I was one of the fortunate few that had the privilege of meeting her. We were traveling in our RV, and stayed close to her for several days. Spent a whole day, part of which she demonstrated many things she did. I’ve lost all my pictures, or I’d certainly be sending them to Nonie to post for me. Karen P
I do have one picture of betty and friend. I was trying to find the one that Karen mentioned of Betty and the ugly dress contest we had.
