My suggestions may surprise you!

If you like to read about "true crime", then try this one. "The Evil I Have Seen!" by Lt. Detective Robert (Robbo) Davidson. I have not read it, because I haven't had the courage as I know/knew some of the families effected. All of these crimes happened here in my parish. Even with all of this history, I still feel like it's one of the safest places to live.

I know him, and I taught school with his wife, Linda, for several years and watched his girls grow up. They are a tight family, and I've always admired them so much.

About Robbo.

The news station in Shreveport does weekly videos about the men behind the badge. Arrow down for the video.

"Hindsight with Hollie" was written by a local 14 year old girl, Hollie Stone. This link takes you to all the links about her and where to purchase. If you know a young person that likes to read, this is probably a good choice. Hollie has had a lot to deal with in her young life, and right now they're trying to figure out some problems with her heart.

Thank you, Nonie! I think this thread will become very useful.
