I'll have to try that--it sounds like how we cook Rice-a-Roni.

You are in good company, Nonie. Guess we have all been doing it wrong.

So funny. A friend and I were recently discussing mac and cheese, and whether or not we ate it as children. I remember loving Kraft mac and cheese, as a child, and often making it for myself. No one else in the family was a fan. I tried it a few years ago, and it just was not the same as my childhood memories. Tom loved "real" mac and cheese -- nothing in a box, except maybe the pasta, depending on the brand. Mac and cheese is always a winter food to me, so there will probably be some made in the next few months.
