My books of choice are probably not on anyone else's list but here goes.
" The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks" by Rebecca Skloot. The origin of HeLa (cervical cancer cells) used in the research and development of important medical advances.
"The Hot Zone" by Richard Preston. The true story of the origins of the Ebola Virus.
"Crisis in the Red Zone" by Richard Preston. The story of the deadliest Ebola outbreak in history, and the outbreaks to come.
I am slowly working my way through these.

Nonie, thanks, I don't know if I am coming or going these days.
I will copy it to the this thread.
love this topic. It will be a great place to get an idea for our next read.
I am reading Chronicles of the Kings series by Lynn Austin. The first was God and Kings and the second is Song of Redemption, I think there are five all together. It was a small group at church that I knew I couldn't be there for but still wanted to try the books. They are like a historical novel that tells you how it was to live in those times. It is fascinating.
