Isn't he sweet? He's my baby so I'll keep him. Anyway, I went to use my serger and he chewed through all of the threads from the spools. I wouldn't have known it was him except for a few strands of cat hair! :sewing:

I had one who use to sit on the window side of my machine and when I was sewing she would slap her paw at the needle going up and down. I kept telling her one day I was going to sew her into one of my outfits!!!!!!!!

He'll bat at the thread as it's bopping around in the sewing machine or serger and he'll tug at the thread while I'm hand sewing!! My daughter's a knitter and she lives with us, so you know what that means...

I used to have a Cockatiel, Sammy, that would sit on my forearm when I was sewing, watched every stitch and would comment often. Doesn't it make you wonder what our critters are thinking at those times?

I had 2 motorized reindeer that I stored in my closet. Yep you guessed it, when Christmas rolled around some kitty (I have 4) chewed all the little white wires

I am so sad. I had to put my "automatic thread cutter" to sleep today. Even tho I know I did the right thing, I'm still so sad.

Lexi, how did they not get sick eating cactus? Or at least be in pain! These critters are something. I sure do miss my "thread cutter".
