Suede Leather Pillow with Welting

Postby angelalee511 » June 9th, 2014, 3:43 pm

I haven't disappeared I promise! I've been in my sewing room trying to get some UFO's off my plate.

Here is one (actually 2 but not pictured) that I've finished.

I even installed an invisible zipper.

These are for Britt's BF. She'll have them monogrammed, and I think they'll be fantastic. This is a gorgeous suede leather that a friend gave me. It was surprisingly easy to work with too.

That looks great and truly professional. I love the way you did the zipper. Amazing.

You certainly have that zipper in nicely! It seems it would be more difficult with the suede leather....so excellent!

And, when they are monogrammed, won't they be so expensive looking...they already are, but monograms will only add to it.

WOW I'm so proud of you!! I just ordered an invisible zipper foot for my Bernina. In all my years of sewing, I've never put in an invisible zipper!! I have a lot to learn!!

Thank you all for the sweet comments. It took much practice, but those zips are a breeze now. Karen, I know you'll get it down with no problem.
