Whew I finished all the costumes!

I finished it all and now it is being tested. I thought you might like to see the entire cast of this year's School Nativity play. :)

Lanie, who plays the Angel Gabriel, is standing on two loo rolls so you can see her. I did warn her it's not safe but she insisted. :)

Kathy - I have a confession to make. Not all the dolls successfully auditioned for a part in this year's Nativity Play.

There are still some 18" dolls in the box - 2 more AGs, a Gotz Precious Day Doll, the Chinese doll from Pottery Barn, and 2 Our Generation dolls, plus 1 more AG who is headless as she needs new eyes, so I use her as a tailor's dummy. That's before I think about the other size dolls I have.

The problem is that I need to check fit for different brands so I can say which dolls the patterns will fit and which need adjusting. So I need to have them myself. I am not going to buy any more dolls for a while - or at least that's what I promised hubby.

I could make more clothes for the innkeeper and his wife as I haven't done them, but I decided against it as the pattern was getting too big. Otherwise I would have included costumes for animals (a cow, donkey and a lamb) and maybe a star - like all good nativity plays everyone should have a part.

Maybe I might make the animals for next year (if I remember!) lol.

They are beautiful. I have costumed lots of nativity pageants and I am loving the details in yours!

I also love the term, loo rolls!

Those are all so sweet! I need to find out if any of my little sewing victims have that size doll!

Those are absolutely precious Genine! I can just see some little girl with her own little nativity set. How very creative! Great job.
