Christmas Crafting

Postby Jenny Jo » December 26th, 2015, 5:12 pm

On Christmas Eve, I took a break from the bridesmaids' muslins and frantically made as many AG doll things as I could. :sewing:

For my younger dd, who received her first AG doll this Christmas, I made a reversible a-line dress (using the lining from Genine's A-line Color Block pattern), a reversible wrap skirt (with this free pattern), and a gathered skirt (no pattern) with hearts. I also made a watch, a heart necklace, a headband to match the heart skirt, and a "Kirsten" alphabet bracelet.

For my older dd, I made a gathered skirt with butterflies. She also received a watch; a heart necklace; a blue beads-and-floss necklace; a "Caroline" and a "Samantha" alphabet bracelet; and a Swarovski butterfly necklace and matching girl necklace. (We seem to have temporarily misplaced the "Caroline" and "Samantha" bracelets....They look just like the one that Kirsten is wearing in the pictures below.)

How very nice! Did you just design the jewelry yourself, or is there a 'pattern.'

Good work, and so nice that each now have her AG gal! Sweet!
