Nebraska Notebook Cover

Postby Jenny Jo » December 5th, 2016, 11:02 am

My women's group at church has an annual Christmas brunch where there is a $5 gift exchange. I remembered this at 8pm the night before the brunch. I really didn't want to go out shopping, so I just made another of my favorite mini notebook covers. I've found that it is faster to do an elastic closure than the velcro tab. I also slid the fabric into the clear pen, having also removed the "Pentel" logo with nail polish remover.

Jenny Jo, this is such a nice $5.00 gift! I know the recipient will enjoy it so much. People who don't know how to sew or craft are always amazed at these type gifts!!

Great Idea. I know my college age kids would love a notepad like this. Only one so far and her school doesn't have fabric. Maybe I can do one more like the sorority she will pledge in Sept.

Very creative Jenny Jo especially using the fabric for the pen. I never knew you could do that. This will be a very well liked gift!
