Newlook 6859 PJ pants

Postby angelalee511 » October 26th, 2016, 9:32 am

I made these for Austin for Christmas at his request. I had the green cotton in my stash. It has a pretty yet subtle geometric print and it's a mid-weight cotton. I don't even remember when or why I bought it. :rotflo: But I had plenty so I used it. The bird fabric is something I found at Walmart and thought they would make great PJ pants.

This pattern runs very large. I usually make a small for Rob even though he usually wears a man's medium. These are size Large for Austin even though he is usually an extra large. They don't give a waist measurement but the hip was something like 42. He has a 38" waist, and it's much larger than his hips. :rotflo: So I used a 38" piece of 1" elastic but added a piece of 1/2" twill tape so he could adjust the waist to whatever size he needs.

I just realized I hadn't soaked these either to remove my blue marks.

This pattern works for men and women, and I have another pair of women's posted too.
