Bringing this subject back to the top. Glad to know you bought a pattern but who do you buy from?

I love your bowls and hot pads!! What do you use for the lining/batting?

I am looking for the correct batting for the microwave bowls, I know it has to be 100% cotton also 100% cotton thread.
For the potholders I use insul-bright.

Sorry Nonie and Karen, I'm just getting back here and saw this. I used cotton lining (usually quilting cotton for both focus and lining) and warm and natural batting; although, I have used the pellon cotton batting. I have used the 80/20 cotton in my own bowls and have had no issues with them in the microwave. I would never give those out to anyone though just as a precaution. I prewash all fabrics not the batting.
