Two dresses for Zoe

Postby lexie » May 20th, 2017, 9:07 pm

I purchased the fabrics for both dresses from Farmhouse Fabrics, the blue
frock as a kit. The pattern I used is That's Sew Connie's "Ella".

The lavender floral frock has mini-piping made from yellow pindot fabric and
the frill is the lavender pindot fabric. The reverse of the shoulder straps is
yellow pindot.

The blue frock has lavender pindot mini-piping across the top of the bodice
and has lavender ribbon rick-rack around the waistline.

Such pretty dresses! I especially love the colors in the aqua dress - so soft and delicate! I bet she loves them!

Lacey dresshanger

Postby lexie » May 28th, 2017, 7:37 pm

A note regarding the lacey hanger.

This hanger was given to me and what they have done to assemble it is....

They placed 2 crocheted doilies, one each side of hook. The hanger has
been covered with satin which can be purchased as is.
They have then stitched it across the end, then under the hanger
and across the other end.

These little dresses are so sweet, Lexie. You always have a knack for color and fabric selection. And that lace hanger is to die for!

These are so sweet, Lexie. Any little girl would love these frothy bits with their twirly skirts.

Cute dresses, I really like the blue one with the purple band, that purple brings out the colors in the dress itself.

I guess I missed these somehow. They are both so cute, and I love the fabrics.
