And it's done! YEA!!!!

We all make mistakes and have mishaps while sewing. This is a place to share those 'oops'. Did you do a great save?

And it's done! YEA!!!!

I finished it this morning.

Not great work, but it's done. I decided to bind the hem 'cause it is so much easier!

She put it on and twirled, " My birthday cherry dress!! Look Mom! I'm a pretty Princess Zoe!"

I've decided the cherry fabric is too dark. and the red doesn't do anything to lighten it. SO next time ( 'cause I've still got 7 yrds of it), I'll find a green that matches the leaves or use a black gingham for accent.

The pics were too big to post here, so they are in general sewing in the gallery

Enjoy!

Thanks for letting me vent!

The dress turned out so pretty. If you had not of posted, I never would have guessed you had any problems at all. Zo is just adorable, twirling away.

How cute is that! But that darling dress doesn't hold a candle to the huge smile on the first picture! What a priceless picture!
