Oh so sorry. It's such soft wonderful stuff, hard to believe that it's made from re-cycled milk bottles. So plastic. Funny the clothes dryers never ruin it. Hope your "save" worked well.

My Christmas dresses for the girls I measured to shorten the skirt, then cut from the top instead of from the bottom. Put rows of ribbon over the patch job. Know how you feel, and it's not a good feeling. My fix improved the dresses, hope yours does the same.

Oh dear - I wouldn't have thought it would melt! :roll: I'm so sorry. Hopefully you've managed to fix it up.
