Carmel pecan topped apple pie

Foil line a deep dish pie pan. Put a layer of pecans on the foil, and top with 6 tablespoons butter & 6 tablespoons brown sugar. Place bottom piecrust on this, and build your traditional apple pie, and bake as usual. To serve, place plate on top and invert the pie. Best served warm with a tad of vanilla ice cream.
