Easy Crockpot soup

Here is a recipe totally out of my element....

Crockpot Potato Soup

Makes about three quarts of potato soup. I doubled for my 6qt. Crock.

I - 32 oz. diced hash browns
1 - can cream of chicken soup
1 - 32 oz. chicken broth
1 - 8 oz. box cream cheese

1/2 pound diced ham, or bacon bits - 1/2 cup

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Put first ingredients into crockpot and stir; cook on low for 8 hours.

Add ham so it cooks last hour. You may add cheddar cheese last 1/2 hour or sprinkle on top when serving.

Salt and pepper at anytime. (With all the salt in the products, it really does not need it)

I removed the cover for the last three hours of cooking...I thought it looked a bit watery, then turned on high for the last 45 minutes for a good heat up.

Very good and received raves at the retreat today.

Sounds delicious!!! Definitely not "diet". :rotflo: :rotflo: :rotflo: All that creamy, cheesy goodness. Yum!
