I decided to break down the purse patterns page into several subcategories, because I've learned that certain bag styles are becoming increasingly popular. So, if there's anyone out there who'd like instructions on how to sew a Messenger-style bag, you can find links to over twenty tutorials on this page: Messenger bag patterns

Hobo Bag Patterns

And one more bag style that's become quite popular is the Hobo bag (those big, slouchy, unstructured bags). If there's anyone out there who's interested in specifically making a hobo-style bag, you can find over twenty tutorials on this page: Hobo Bag Patterns
