I have a stain elixer that I have used on some things that works.
Equal parts of dove dishwshing detergent, and clorox 11powder. Hot water : what the fabric will bear.
soak garment till stain is gone. rinse and dry.
Cant remember where it came from, but might be worth a try.

I have had good results with soaking items in a Snowy bleach bucket. I have had
good results with delicate fabrics and lace.

Judy, I have hunted for and could not find a lengthy posting started by Nonie on some stains in a tablecloth. I could not find it... Perhaps someone else will recall.

I agree that when it comes to antique items it could be a week or more. I use one cup biz to half a bucket of hottest water. Soak a couple a days and then restart the process untill it is gone. Good luck.

If it's white, lemon juice and into the sun usually works quickly.
