Hi! I’m KarenVA’s Daughter!

Please introduce yourself.

Hi! I’m KarenVA’s Daughter!

Postby SuperPsyc » January 19th, 2018, 8:06 am

Hi everyone! My mom is always talking about how much fun she has on this forum, so she convinced me to join. (I’m in a bunch of sewing groups on Facebook, so I’ll need to remind myself to check on here too!) I do a lot of knitting (intricate lace shawls are my speciality) and bag-making on my amazing Bernina Activa 220. I also crochet, but not as much these days. Both my mom and husband got me into new crafts this past Christmas—my husband taught me how to cross stitch and Mom taught me quilting basics. So my goal for 2018 is to do more of those crafts and hone my skills!

It’ll be a bit of a busy year because I’m 5 months pregnant with my little miracle baby. Benjamin Nicholas is due May 25th! I hope to make him some quilts before he arrives! :D

Hi! Welcome. I’m the ‘other’ Karen on the board, and I just love the things your mom does. We really need pictures here, and I’d love to see one of those lace shawls, they sound beautiful

Welcome! We're all always excited to have a new baby on the forum. I know it will be hard to keep on sewing and crafting after the baby comes, but I do hope you can work it in off and on.
