egg cartons are also cheap dividers for little items and they are free. You can cut them to fit.

Wow, so many great ideas. I have three more little drawers to do. This is the drawer right next to my sewing-machine.

Very tidy, Nonie!! It makes sewing so much more fun when things are neat and at hand, doesn't it?

My sweetie has always used "tins" to keep stuff tidy in our car cubbies!

Here are a few pictures of my drawers. The two orange wire organizers came from TJ maxx. I think they were $5 each. The black one was an old office drawer organizer I already had. The green one is part of a package I got from Sam's for $20. I wound up with 25 I believe.

The first is for all my marking tools and pins.

The second is for all my cutting tools. I also keep spare pieces of paper for patterns alterations. My tapes are here too. Oh and my lint roller for cleaning up my cutting mat.

This is my new piece of furniture. I am still playing around with how to organize it. Those boxes are full of ribbon, piping, extra bias tape and store bought bias and ric rac. The green box was a gift full of cookies, and the other two came from Michael's on sale. the two drawers on the end are old sewing drawers I picked up at an antique shop. I loved them but haven't decided what to use them for. :rotflo:

Great use of your boxes Nonie. I missed those pictures. :)

My problem now is zippers. I have a ton and just have them thrown in a drawer and I have to dig through all of them to find what I want. :rotflo:

Angela, great pictures, great ideas. I still have three drawers left to get organized, that are right by the sewing center. Then about four little drawers in the cutting area, ugh, just not very good at doing that. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with for zippers. Anyone have zipper ideas?...

I saw one that I liked where they used clips to hold the zippers and hang them from horizontal rods (think towel bar). I thought about doing that but I think they would stay dusty in my room. :rotflo: I love my tea tins for buttons and small things, and they were free!

Why not just roll the zippers up,wrap with a ribbon or elasticband and add anotherpretty can to your collection?
