Re: Buttermilk Pecan Pralines
Sara, when you drop some of the praline mixture into the cold water to test for the soft ball stage make sure that you DO NOT drop more than an amount that is equivalent in size of #2 pencil eraser, otherwise it will be hard to see the soft ball form.
Shirley, thank you so much for this.

I thought the dark fabric would make it difficult to see down inside the bag if I did not use a contrasting fabric for the lining. I also ...

Re: HS Graduation gifts
I used a magnetic clasp for ease of putting the bracelet on and removal. With the clasp the bracelet measured 7 1/4". I traced off a pioneer woman placemat for the length and width of the cosmetic bag then I rounded the ends of the placemat with the edge of a dinner plate . The test stitch out ...

The font is Embroidery Arts Moderne Monogram. It is an art deco style of font that I thought would be kind of sophisticated and not be out grow...

Re: Test stitch outs
Jerry and Nonie, the reason I am thinking of doing it is because I am making a graduation gift for my walking buddy's daughter. I asked her what type of font Hannah would prefer and she did not know. Her description of what Hannah liked made me think that she would like and Art Deco font. I showed h...
