Silly me. My roommate (who's sewing machine I'm borrowing) helped me figure it out. In this case turning in was just folding once.

I'll probably need more help as I progress this week, so thanks for the willingness to assist! :-D

Define: Turn in

I am sewing my first thing from a pattern since grade 9 home ecconomics. I don't want to mess up because it's a gift. What does "turn in" mean? Is it just one fold, or is it (as I suspect) when you fold a tiny edge under a larger fold such that the bottom part of the fold looks nice ( like...
