Waldrof Inspired Dolls

I so want to make a Waldrof Inpired Doll for my Granddaughters. Their alittle to young for AG right now. Anyone know where I can get a pattern or a good tutorial for this???? :morcoffee:

How To?????

I do not like zippers in kids clothes. So many patterns in the mass market now has them in their patterns.
How do I change the pattern to do a button closure instead of a zipper?
Would be a wnderful tutorial. :P

The Lace Cottage is very limited to what they now carry in most things.
The last time I was there they only had DMC floss.

Heirlooms Forever in Tupelo might have it. But would probally be just as cheap to order.
ITs about 60 miles away.

I'm going to be doing the actual dress in Batise.

I found that after doing the 3.5 to 4.0 stitch around the top of the sleeve. Cap your sleeve around a pressing ham and shot it with hot steam. The steam will actually draw in the cap somewhat. Shadow Work

I'm attempting to do some Shadow Work by hand.
Now its been awhile.
So I decided to do samples.

Here's my question to you ladies:
DO you use one strand of thread single or double?
I've tried it both ways. Love the richness of the double.
