Re: Happy Fourth

Some of our pictures that we don’t like are truly the ones that are truly ‘us’. I love this one!

Re: NOT AGAIN!!!

Well, I think that’s one that I’ve not done, but the only one I”m sure. I’ve made so many oops that it’s hard to come up with one I’ve not experienced

Re: Another first!!

No, none of us have ever done that. At least not since the first five or 10 times. But on Terry cloth that was a real challenge for use. Sorry you had to do that

Re: Clay's Dressing

Yankee cornbread is sweet. At least too sweet for me. Tastes like cake not bread

Re: Clay's Dressing

One question here. What cornbread do you use? Mrs. White’s? Some of those mixes are just too Yankee

Re: Again, more place mats

Love the flannel idea. I wish you had posted that earlier. I used iron on interfacing to keep it flat and not fluffy. I have lots of white flannel I could have used. With all of the craft projects people now make, they’ve certainly upped the cost of iron on products. And I believe the widths are muc...

Re: More microwave bowls

My intent was to include bowls. I love the Corell ones, but didn’t want to give mine away, or go purchase and also they were to be Christmas gifts but I just brought them to the daughters, and gave them to her. Jan, if you’re hesitating like I did , I understand. I still have the other 4 to make for...

Re: Valance

Love, love your new bedroom! And to think it’s a Goodwill find. I never find things at thrift stores, so I have just quit goin. When I spent summers in Oregon, a lady I went to church with always stopped at Goodwill after church. So I”d go along and browse but didn’t buy. She had a shoe fetish, and ...

Re: One in and one out!!

Woo Hoo for Nonie!!! I wish I could say the same about the smocking, but I’ve even lost interest at the moment. Maybe your finished smocked item will get me going again. I really doubt it as I have some other things I’m wanting to do.
I’ll be waiting to see yours

Re: Zipper storage idea

Why do we buy and save so many zippers? It seems like when I need one, I still have to go out and buy one. Never have the ‘one’ I need. Unless you do repetitive projects, it’s hard to have the right one when needed. But, with that said, I wish I had a cork board I could hang mine from. I love that i...

Re: The Domestic Sewing Machine for the right handed user

I discovered years ago that the sewing machine seems to be the only thing out there that is really for a left handed person. I do believe if you were right handed and learned on a right handed machine, it would be wonderful. But for us that have years of sewing on the current configuration, it would...
