Re: One in and one out!!

Woo Hoo for Nonie!!! I wish I could say the same about the smocking, but I’ve even lost interest at the moment. Maybe your finished smocked item will get me going again. I really doubt it as I have some other things I’m wanting to do.
I’ll be waiting to see yours

Re: Zipper storage idea

Why do we buy and save so many zippers? It seems like when I need one, I still have to go out and buy one. Never have the ‘one’ I need. Unless you do repetitive projects, it’s hard to have the right one when needed. But, with that said, I wish I had a cork board I could hang mine from. I love that i...

Re: The Domestic Sewing Machine for the right handed user

I discovered years ago that the sewing machine seems to be the only thing out there that is really for a left handed person. I do believe if you were right handed and learned on a right handed machine, it would be wonderful. But for us that have years of sewing on the current configuration, it would...

Re: Simplicity 1722 All comments and suggetions welcome

I can see in my minds eye just what you have in mind. Sounds like it will work great, but what a lot of work. After that first one they should go quick and easy, but adding, and changing the first one sounds like a challenge, but one you seem to have all lined up. We’ll be waiting to hear how it goe...

Re: Many, many feet

I probably do. I'll have to take a look tomorrow and see. I do have a binder foot for the coverstitch machine, but couldn't figure out how to get it around a corner, or how to finish it off. Too many toys, too little skill.

Re: What foot??

The 1/4" foot. I do mostly Genine's doll clothes now, and that helps me keep the seams even, and the clothes fitting properly.

Re: Many, many feet

I bought one of those sets of knock-off feet also. I bought a cheap Brother machine when my other Brother broke. I haven't used many of the feet, but they were sure a bargain. Invisible zipper foot for PIPING????? I can see how that would work, now I'll have to try that! When I go to the sewing room...
