Re: Some organizing done!

Thank you, it is a start. The room is not yellow! Anyhow I think it will be a lot more fun. The room is so tiny.

Sewing mojo

Karen brought up what I am feeling and that is sewing mojo. I did alright for awhile and now even though I am excited about sewing, the energy isn't there.

Do you just rest and wait for the mojo to come back?
Do you just do other things?

Let's share what we do on our not sewing days.

Shelves got put into the closet. I need one more basket, but have been able to give away storage bins that are no longer needed and were just taking up needed space.

Christmas baking

What is everyone baking for Christmas? Do you give baked goods as presents? Do you make candy? I am getting my recipes together, and am willing to try some new ones. For the fruitcake I am cheating and buying a big cake from Costco and then cutting it up and wrapping slices for the fruitcake lovers....

Re: New to sewing, denim questions

I would agree with Karen, try out the machine to be sure it does what you want/need it to do.
I have no clue as to where your post went  Glad you signed in again and please do feel welcome.

NOT AGAIN!!!

Am I the only one messing up?? I was doing great, on my third towel and I might say feeling a bit proud of myself. At this rate I would be done with the have to's, except for a reading pillow.
