Re: Two dresses for Zoe

These little dresses are so sweet, Lexie. You always have a knack for color and fabric selection. And that lace hanger is to die for!

Re: Questions to the Viking owners

I agree with Mary. That's what I do. Pull up the bobbin thread and a long length of top thread. Hold them both until you get it going. That's what I do. If you are continuously getting those thread balls, you might have a feeding problem. I can't turn off the automatic thread cutter on button holes....

Re: Darn butonholes

Nonie, I have the same machine and this machine is not as good as the older Vikings on buttonholes. I haven't liked this one from the day I bought it. When I buy another machine, that is the first thing I will check. I have used snaps in place of buttonholes on several garments. You can easily hide ...

Re: The new old bath

Love the bath Bunny. I think everyone who sees the house will love it too. Great job! The knobs work perfectly!

Re: Darn butonholes

Is this on the Sapphire? I don't like the automatic button hole on this machine as much as my old one. I do them manually now just for that reason. They are either crooked, don't stop where they are supposed to or the stitches just look bad. Terrible on this machine!

Re: NEED HELP ORGANIZING

A peg board would fit nicely right under that bulletin board! Good work thus far.

I don't know how accurate this is, but it makes sense to me.

Re: NEED HELP ORGANIZING

When I designed my original sewing/cutting table, I designed it with drawers to hold my patterns, my ribbon, my fabric and rulers. I also have one drawer for in progress items and finished items. I thought that was my biggest problem was having unfinished things lying around. I was wrong. It does he...

Re: The bubble challenge

Nonie, I just used a quilting pin. They are longer than the regular ones.

Vanessa, definitely join in.

Jan, the snap tape has bigger snaps than my snap source snaps. Maybe that's my problem. I'll have to get some bigger ones and see if they work better.

Re: The bubble challenge

The pin method works beautifully! I've used it many times. Jan, it would be fantastic if you had a bubble ready to go for the next gift you needed. Jerry, I have one but do not use it on my clothes. The snaps do not last long. They wear out quickly with repeated use. I used on a cord wrapper for my ...
