Re: Help!! need pintuck help

Nonie, I'll try mine when I get home today and see if I can help that way. I don't think I've tried my twin needle on this machine. You shouldn't have to adjust any tension.

Re: Need yardage amount--possibly a Angela question

Sorry I'm just seeing this Nonie. I wound up with way too many strips and have enough to make another full lap quilt!

Re: Help!! need pintuck help

You also have to go into the settings and set the needle for twin needle. Just be sure when you come up that first "wrap" that you put one thread to the right and one to the left before you go down and around the second wrap. Let me know if it works.

Re: Help!! need pintuck help

Nonie on our machines when you come up and around to thread, you have to put the right thread to the right and the left thread to the left. If they are going down the same slot, it will tangle. I haven't tried it yet, but that's what they told me when I bought my machine.

Re: Fried Pies with Chicken filling...Air Fryer

I never thought to use an air fryer (oil-less fryer) for anything other than turkey and chicken. I bet my dh could come up with some recipes once I tell him what you did! Fabulous! We love cooking with ours.

Re: tube quilt

Nonie,I did not. I cut my strips I believe 3" x WOF. I cut way too many, since the quilt was only 3' x 3'. That's all she wanted.

Re: New to sewing, denim questions

It depends on whether or not you want to spend the extra money to make the machine sit in the table. I honestly don't know that it makes a huge difference. My machine sits on top of my table ( I have a Viking) and the only time I really wish it sat in the table is when I'm working on quilts or long ...

Re: tube quilt

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J5WgTyqB8Pc This is the easiest way to explain. You basically sew strips together. Two color strips with a white in the center and two white strips with a color in the center. Then stitch those two together along both long edges forming a tube. Then cut them into tri...

tube quilt

I didn't have time to wait for great weather to snap a picture of the finished quilt but I did have pics of the quilt top when I was trying to decide how to arrange my squares. I had plenty of mistakes on this quilt but I learned so much from doing it, so I call it a success. Sorry about my work spa...

Re: Some organizing done!

The organizing should help get your mojo back. It worked for me. I found stuff I forgot I had and that made me want to use it. I never did, but it got me wanting to at least. :rotflo: :rotflo: It is looking great!! Having things in their place will also calm you.
