Nonie, I am familiar with this block. the first class I tookmwith Jennie Doan at the retreat several,years ago was the tube quilt. I just watched her tutorial. She got two blocks probably 9.5 inches Square out of the two 2.5" strips and a 4.25 inch strip. I would think you would want at least 3...

Nonie....I don't care for it for my quilts. I like the definition of classic quilting stitches. They place more emphasis on the piece work. Just my thoughts. And, perhaps, I made too general of a statement. There is a place for the random or border to border....an example would be for your quilt you...

Karen, thank you for sharing the Patsy Thompson info with us. I have now signed up to follow her blog. She has such clear concise instructions. I think that is something I would like to try. I just do not care for meandering or border to border Quilting. This looks exciting!!

But up if you cook up your bones with carrots and celery with a couple cups of water, you can add flour after getting rid of the bones and make a creamy gravy with the low fat sour cream. Having done a lot of repairs for my railroader husband on his work clothes, I am holding a very strong second to Karen's thoughts. Seems like if I sew heavy things on my Baby Lock, etc I am in trouble. You will also need a lifter made of cardboard to climb onto those belt loops and across seams. Som...
