Re: Does this stuff have any value?

But, Karen, we could easily be committed for the size of our stashes and the willingness to add to them!

Re: My next project will be----

Of course, a lovely towel! I'm not sure if you are using this fancy as kitchen towel, or a bathroom fancy towel....meaning the people in the house do not use it.

Re: Place mats are done

They did turn out so pretty. I think you have given me the incentive to try a quilt as you go burn victim quilt.!

I will need to ask you questions! Did you simply pin, or did you use a spray adhesive?

Re: I should know this but HELP!!

I had a nice little chart when we did all those dresses for Korea...I'll see if I can find it. It outlined the whole thing. I think mine had a separate straight bodice...but you could add that yoke to the length. Edited: I spotted this in my search. There isn't a picture on this downloaded pattern h...

Re: The new old bath

Very nice, Bunny. I love your knobs. I have not been able to find any I want for our Master bath. I'm going shopping on Etsy. Thanks for leaving the shop name.

Your pain spending so many weekends in that room surely paid off. Your painting is streak free! I like the technique.

Bravo!!

Re: Darn butonholes

Nonie, have you looked on you tube for specifically Sapphire buttonholes...might be a tute there and you are missing something so simple, as in Jerry's lever. I miss that one as well.

Re: Too tight sleeves

Jerry, you might be onto something. I am more interested in the sleeve around the arm not the armsyce...but, it would not hurt for that armsyce to be a tad bit larger as well. If I hollow out the armscye ... my shoulder would be too narrow....but I could slash the pattern all the way down and add 1/...

Too tight sleeves

I made Ava a dress for Easter, it is a lined sleeve as well. The sleeve turned out to tight in the width. In construction, I did all the staggering and trimming of armhole seams, and did sew the sleeve seam as narrow as I dared.. With my strange brain, I cannot get it to wraparound how to alter the ...

Re: Easter Dress--butterick 6168

Judy, I have noticed that the sleeves are cut far too small for Ava. I was thinking I need to post on this form and see what I might do that would be correct. Amazing when I did twice the clipping and more trimming that helped the armscye...but still just a tad bit too little in the width. I am nerv...
